Fall Ball

To register for Fall Ball, click on the Registration tab above.

Fall Ball is designed to be instructional and fun, and also serves as tryouts and team placement for spring teams. If a player is interested in playing on a spring team, he or she must attend one or more fall sessions.

The Fall Ball sessions are as Saturdays and Sundays, September 24 - November 14.  Each age group will have 8 sessions, so will practice once a weekend.

The age groups will be as follows (both boys and girls):

Firestarters (new players ages 5-6)
8U (skilled 6 year olds and all 7 year olds)
10U (ages 8-9)
12U (ages 10-11)
14U (ages 12-13 - however 14 year olds who are in 8th grade may play)
High School  - boys only (mostly 9th graders)

The birthday cutoff is September 1, and the players will register for the age group they will play in for the Spring. For example, if a player will have turned 10 prior to September 1, 2016, then he or she will register for the 12U age group.

The practices times are below.  Practices will be at Woodside HS on Saturdays and Sequoia HS on Sundays.  There are two exceptions (October 8 and October 15).

Fall Ball Sept 24-Nov 13 Saturday (Woodside) Sunday (Sequoia)
Firestarters   8-9 am
Boys U8   9-10 am
Boys U10   10:00-11:30
Boys U12   11:30-1:00
high school boys   1:30-3:00
Boys 7th graders 9-10:30 am
Boys 8th graders 10:30-12:00 pm
Girls U8 and U10 1-2:30 pm
Girls U12 and U14 2:30-4:00 pm

On October 15th, the 14U Boys will practice at Sequoia HS from 10-11:30 am, and the girls will practice at Sequoia from 12-3 pm.  Emails will be sent out prior to the practices to remind the players of the time.
